The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) together with the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network revealed a scheme of weapons supply to the terrorists of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra.
There is no secret that the U.S. provides the so-called moderate opposition and Kurdish militia in Syria with arms and ammunition most of which are the weapons remained after the Soviet-led Warsaw Pact disbanded.
The U.S. DOD, through U.S. SOCOM, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, as well as Picatinny Arsenal, American military research, and manufacturing facility located in Dover, New Jersey, acquired arms in some Eastern European countries including Ukraine for their further sending to Syria. The procurement volume has already exceeded $700 billion.
Kiev used the logistical scheme elaborated by Washington to export arms and weapons from the Ukrainian armed forces weapons depots. The deal is estimated at $110 billion.
Only between June 5 and September 15, the United States sent 1,421 trucks loaded with weaponry to the “moderate” opposition, including 596 trucks (more than 40 %) from Ukraine. Most of them ended up in ISIS’ hands.
The General Staff of Ukraine took advantage of Oktyabrsk seaport located 25 kilometers southeast to Mykolaiv and Kiev air transport hub to supply weapons to the Middle East.
The transportation of weapons by air was the most effective in terms of delivery speed. The weapons were transferred from ammunition depot No. 48 of Central Missile and Artillery Directorate situated in the Ukrainian town of Vinnytsia to Gavrishovka Airport and then delivered by 456 brigade jets to Boryspil International Airport.
Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities might have delivered arms and weapons through ammunition depot No. 65 located in Kharkiv’s Balakliya.
To cover up the illegal supplies, a series of deliberate arsons were organized at the military depots. The incident in Vinnytsia provoked the public outcry. According to the Ukrainian media, more than 40 tons of artillery shells were allegedly destroyed. In fact, this represents a basis of weapons sold and delivered to ISIS.
The similar cases won’t stop as Kiev needs to hide grand larceny and illegal arms sales from the public eye.
Our media source has obtained an independent investigation report prepared by the group of journalists (Michael Kobs, Petri Kohn, Adam Larson and Qoppa) “How Human Right Watch wags the dog”.
The journalists questioned the credibility of the events and facts provided in the HRW report on the incident in the Syria’s Khan-Sheikhoun on April 4.
The journalists’ team specializes in research and analysis on Syria, Iraq, and Libya, basing on open sources. The bloggers analyze the incidents which violate the principles of international law and result in the death of hundreds of civilians. In their reports, the activists use the same tool as Bellingcat including Google Maps, up-to-date OSINT, various graphics editors as well as 3D modeling programs.
A detailed examination of Khan-Sheikhoun incident showed the conclusion of the ‘human rights’ activists’ conclusions are premature, unconvincing and extremely dangerous for foreign public opinion in the West.
In particular, the investigation highlights the following mistakes in HRW report:
1. While investigating the chemical weapon attack, HRW deliberately changed the timeline of events in Idlib province and Khan-Sheikhoun in particular (read more: ‘Construction of Motif’).
2. The ‘witnesses’ quoted in the report could not see the first bomb from the spot, where they allegedly saw it. (proved: ‘A shadow that wasn’t here’).
3. HRW claims more than 90 people were killed as a result of sarin gas usage. However, the first bomb exploded in several hundred meters away from the impact site could not have caused such lethal consequences. Moreover, no signs of blast wave or dust were spotted on the bodies of the victims. At the same time, the footages made by the White helmets activists show children who later appear in other dubious movies (proved: ‘Heroes & Victims & the Wind’).
4. The testimonies of various witnesses are controversial, and no video evidence of the airstrike exists. Besides, the team provides a version of a natural fog not caused by the bombings (read more: ‘Smoke prior to conventional bombs‘).
5. Concentrating on describing the sufferings caused by the malicious and inhumane actions, Human Rights Watch did not simulate such an explosion. For instance, smoke and toxic gas were moving strictly at an angle of 90 degrees against the wind direction while the woman and child did not only choke because of the agent drawn into the wide open doors of the house but also did not experience the impact of the blast wave though they were located 300 meters away from the explosion (read more: ‘Dust & Mist & Manipulations‘).
6. The cameramen shooting the tragedy seem to have been placed at their positions beforehand and could communicate using walkie-talkies. Moreover, they clearly knew about the approaching plane since it took from the Shayrat airbase (proved: ‘Plane Spotter & the Magical Flightpath‘).
7. The place of the explosion and crater raised many questions of the bloggers. According to them, the creator had been digger well before the incident and the fragments of the bomb were placed on it. The metal pieces of the site look like the fragments of another blast bomb without green stripes. If the shell exploded it didn’t happen on the surface as in this case the crater would have been wider (read more: ‘A KhAB filler cab & green bands‘).
8. HRW intentionally didn’t present other theories. The document was based on the version of the Syrian Air Force involvement in the chemical attack. However, initially, there were two alternative versions of the developments. The various sources named a dropped bomb on chemical weapons plant or an explosion of chemical bomb charge by terrorists on the ground as the main cause of the incident (proved: ‘Two theories & withheld factors’).
Thus, the 48-sheet report of HRW is another false Western falsification based on unreliable statements and information. Such kind of operation has once again allowed accusing Bashar Assad of crimes against humanity, to show everybody the true enemy of Syrians and illegally strike Shayrat airbase.

The new evidence regarding the U.S.-led international coalition interested in pursuing political interests in Syria instead of fighting ISIS continue to be reported. There are a lot of facts proving the assistance of the U.S. special services to high-ranking ISIS field commanders.
Against the background of the successful steps of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) towards Deir Ezzor and the defeat of ISIS, Washington has started to evacuate its agents for further use in other areas.
On August 26, the United States Air Force helicopters evacuated two European ISIS commanders along with their families from the settlement of Al-Treif, which is located to the north-west of Deir Ezzor.
In addition, on August 28, the international coalition aviation relocated more than 20 ISIS commanders from Albu Leil village to a military airbase in northern Syria.
It’s not the first when the U.S. intelligence agencies ‘rescue’ field commanders in Syria. In May 2017, the U.S. helicopters picked up dozens of ISIS leaders and foreign mercenaries from the settlement of Al-Kasrah. Let us remind you, that the similar operations were carried out near Raqqa in June/July 2017.
The official representative of the United States Department of Defense Adrian Rankine-Galloway neither confirmed nor denied the information concerning the death of civilians in the Syrian city of Raqqa as a result of another air strike by the international coalition.
He also added that in cases when the U.S. receive such reports of incidents, the country conduct the investigation.
It should be mentioned, that on August 22, a number of media reported that the aircrafts of the coalition fired rockets at Al-Sakhani and Al-Bado alleys and
Al-Tawasuaeh neighborhood in Raqqa city, 78 people killed.
The UN expressed deep concern about the situation. So, the official representative of the Secretary General Stefan Dujarric noted that the International Organization condemns any attack aimed at civilians or urban infrastructure.
He also provided data from humanitarian organizations that, on August 20, more than 30 people became victims of attacks by international coalition in Raqqa. Another 8 displaced people (members of the same family) were killed during another shelling from the air. “Such incidents indicate the deplorable situation in the areas covered by the fighting,” Dujarric added.
The UN official noted, that there are still more 25,000 civilians in the ISIS-held Raqqa, urging the parties to the conflict to take all necessary measures to protect civilians.
Thus, the United States and its allies once again have showed true attitude to the fate of Syrians . For Washington, the dead Syrians are just another figure, which means nothing.
On August 6, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, in Tehran during a meeting with Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis stated, the U.S.-led International coalition strikes on Syrian city of Raqqa is genocide and a blatant example of human rights violation.
The statement of Shamkhani was released in reference to the recent report of the Syrian Red Crescent about numerous victims among civilians during the coalition airstrike on hospital in Raqqa with the use of phosphorous munitions.
The Iranian Diplomat also mentioned that instead of real fight against terrorism, Washington takes odd measures, which strengthen the positions of militants and lead to insecurity in the region. At the same time, the International coalition conducts military operation in Syria without the permission of the legitimate government, and without UN mandate, added Shamkhani.
In his turn, Imad Khamis thanked the Iranian government for the support of Syrians, noticing that the only way to resolve the Syrian crisis peacefully is to change the policy of countries, which sponsor terrorism.
ISIS-trained child suicide bomber attacked positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Raqqa.
According to a military source, due to the explosion that the child made, the Kurdish reporters Alaa Saadun and Redwan Bizar, who were near, almost died.
ISIS fighters recruit children from the age of five. Children participate in battles and are often used by terrorists as suicide bombers.
Besides, the source reported that ISIS fighters had conducted a counterattack in the village of Resafa, Raqqa. The allies of the Syrian Army managed to defeat the attack, having lost several units of equipment and people. Details haven’t been reported yet.
According to Inside Syria Media Center sources, this morning the jets of the U.S.-led International coalition carried out another air strike on residential area in Raqqa province, killing at least eight people, most of them were women and children and wounding many others.
Moreover, the material damage was caused to the urban infrastructure, as a number of buildings were partly destroyed. For the past 48 hours the coalition made more than 40 air raids on Raqqa, striking Al-Imam Mosque and Al-Thukneh area.
The U.S. military campaign in Syria more likes genocide of the Syrian nation and an aggression against the sovereign state rather than fighting terrorism. Only decisive steps of the world community, blaming the U.S. crimes in Syria could change situation for better.
On May 18, the moving convoy of the Syrian pro-government forces consisted of militias was hit by a massive airstrike of the U.S.-led international coalition. The accident occurred at the Syrian-Jordanian border near the settlement of At-Tanfa.
As reported by the official representative of the U.S. Central command Josh Jakes, the Pentagon did not have any information about the number of casualties as a result of the airstrike.
It is worth noting that the U.S. has previously hit the pro-government forces in Syria. For example, during Obama’s presidency the Syrian army positions in Deir ez-Zor were attacked by ISIS terrorists right after the United States had launched their own airstrike. According to the US officials that attack was a mistake caused by “the human factor”.
In April the U.S. Navy has already bombed Syria’s Shayrat Air Base, in response allegedly to the Khan Shaykhun chemical attack.
So, what’s the true reason of such aggressive actions of the US-led international coalition this time? A number of Syrian military analysts believe that the U.S. Air Force main task was to hamper Syrian pro-government forces and to slow down their further advance towards Deir ez-Zor rather than to ‘protect’ U.S. ‘partners’.
Their actions are motivated by the fact that the Syrian military command is ready for a large-scale military operation to liberate the city from ISIS. Damascus sees the complete liberation of Deir ez-Zor province from the blockade as the restoration of the control over the largest oil fields. This may significantly improve the economic situation in the country.
This Syrian city is also a tasty little deal for the coalition forces. The overwhelming desire of the West to plunge the country into a state of constant chaos is the main reason for the planned seizure of oil rigs.
The Syrian city was samely a kind of dainty bit for the US-led coalition. The irresistible impulse of the West to drive the country into the permanent chaos is the primary reason for the oil derricks seizure.
Furthermore, the air strike was performed amid the ongoing Syrian talks in Geneva. A show of power like that may have targeted at making the talks even more difficult and troublesome as they are.
Apparently, the US-led coalition’s regular strikes on the pro-government troops in Syria testify that Washington intends to continue its double-standard policy towards the Syrian conflict. We remember how they supported the establishing “de-escalation” zones but now their actions indicate the opposite. It is sheer cynicism to strike against those who really fight ISIS terrorists. But this doesn’t come as a surprise either in Syria or in the world.
According to the information confirmed by several channels on May 1, aided by Al-Jazeera’s professional crew including cameraman Samir Samarin, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham militants and the so-called ‘White Helmets’ have recently filmed a staged, fake movie of an alleged chemical attack against civilians by the Syrian Army in Saraqeb village not far from Idlib. Around 30 fire-trucks and ambulances, as well as local residents with children from an Idlib-based refugee camp were engaged in the filming of the movie.
According to FARS News, the White Helmets in Idlib are paid around 1,000 Syrian pounds per clip. For better trustworthiness, the filming crew burned tires to produce thick smoke. The shooting was conducted from two spots (near the oil factory and a TV tower) from different angles using a drone. Such filmings took place in Arihah and Jisr al-Shughour towns. The footages will be published in 15 days after a provocative shelling of the SAA positions aimed at causing retaliatory measures.
An Investigation has being conducted to expose a U.S.-backed of weapon supplies to the al-Qaeda group in Syria.
The suppliers list starts with U.S. companies Chemring and its affiliate Chemring Ordinance which previous year signed a contract with the American government and received $47 million in accordance with the Non-Standard Equipment and Weapons Procurement Program. Orbital ATK, another U.S. company was granted $50 million within the program.
The Bulgarian newspaper Trud which initiated a journalistic investigation sent an official request to both companies to clarify what the received money was spent on. Chemring responded some ammunition for the U.S. and its allies’ armies was purchased from Vazovski Mashinostroitelni Zavodi (VMZ-Sopot). It included 122mm rockets for the Grad MLRS, 73mm anti-tank shells and 40mm ammo for rocket launchers. The other company, Orbital ATK, simply ignored the request.
Ammo of these types is not in service in the U.S. army. The company refused to disclose which U.S. allies it was intended for referring to the confidentiality of the supply contract. To be mentioned is that earlier Inside Syria Media Group wrote a piece on military vehicle deliveries carried out by the Liberty Passion ship via the port of Aqaba in Jordan on the pretext of tackling ISIS. In this case, the Bulgarian weapon supplies to al-Qaeda are transported via the largest Saudi port of Jeddah.
First, the munitions produced by VMZ-Sopot and purchased by the U.S. are delivered to the Bulgarian port of Burgas to be loaded on the Marianne Danica contracting carrier. This carrier has already traded twice in the route from Burgas to Jeddah.
To be noted is that the carrier makes no calls at any ports while spending on average 8 hours in Burgas and Jeddah – a minimum time required for fueling and cargo-handling operations, according to the tracking website Marinetraffic.com.
At the same time, Marianne Danica officially declares that it transports extremely dangerous cargo. According to automated Identification System (AIS) type, the cargo is Hazard A (Major) which is the class for explosives and weapons. However, this cargo is evidently not intended for Saudi Arabia as its army is equipped with the armament provided by Western states only.
Neither the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Bulgaria nor the owner of the ship H. Folmer & Co have officially provided the information on the transported cargo along the route Burgas-Jeddah and the Bulgarian weapons’ recipient country.
Moreover, Amnesty International declares this company and carrier had already been involved into a scandal while carrying tear-gas and riot control weapons including arms to Egypt in 2011. Then, the US State Department spokesperson had to admit it pointing out that H. Folmer & Co had allegedly been granted a license to transport armaments.
The fact of Bulgarian weapons deliveries to terrorists is confirmed by the FSA deputy commander Col. Malik al-Kurdi. In an interview to the Trud newspaper, he claimed that “an HQ has been set up in Turkey and Jordan to ensure cooperation between the special services of 15 states. We warned the U.S. and the EU that the weapons delivered in this HQ gets directly in the hands of the terror organizations.
It looks like a double game. I can say with certainty that these countries’ special services arm and finance al-Qaeda, Jabhat al-Nusra, this is happening in Syria. They accuse anyone of terrorism pursuing the goals of their policies”.
As VMZ-Sopot announced its hiring and adopted continuous shift working, new American administration is up to conclude new contracts.
The recipient of the Bulgarian weapon purchased by the U.S. became evident in December 2016 when two million shells and four thousand rockets for the Grad were found at depos in the eastern districts of liberated Aleppo. The depos belonged to Jabhat al-Nusra.
In connection with this, it would be great to ask what ordinary American people, the relatives of 2,977 people killed in the 9/11 attack conducted by al-Qaeda, think about it.
In 16 years, the U.S. government has not avenged the victims nor eliminated al-Qaeda but instead keeps supplying it with the money of American tax payers.
